I did these back in 2003 and colored them with those nifty prisma color makers. I really wanted to do a literal translation of the poem, but I as i drew it, i realized how much more fun it could be as an adaptation.

There are still some really nice things in these, and i look back at them as my first REAL comic.

Hilarious!!
I'm a big fan of Alice, and know the poem by heart, so I got extra pleasure ;)
Such a contrast to Tenniel(except the jabberwock itself), and very contemporary..

Now, what I would really love, is to see the whole Alice in such an adaptation!
Would you dare? ;)

I would love to. Most adaptions of Alice tend to go Gothic and dark.
